Hyland’s 2025 Q1 releases

OnBase Foundation 25.1 delivers cutting-edge updates designed to revolutionize the way your organization works. With AI-driven insights, seamless integration and customizable tools, this release empowers users to unlock valuable business insights, streamline workflows and automate processes with ease.

These enhancements allow users to:

• Access advanced AI tools through Hyland’s Content Intelligence product line to enrich content, uncover insights and optimize automation (coming post-release)

• Leverage responsive forms, annotation tools and scalable app-building features to tailor solutions

• Drive better decisions, improve operational flexibility and fuel organizational growth with enhanced workflows and user satisfaction

Additionally, OnBase customers leveraging the invoice automation solution IAConnect will see enhancements for the IAConnect for Deltek Costpoint integration, including:

• A modernized indexing form that makes it easier to key invoice data into OnBase for processing and approval

• An updated GL coding form, which includes expanded data field sizes and character counts that make it easier to read data keyed into index fields, as well as buttons to confirm data inputs and save actions (Please note: This form will be released in Q2 2025)

• Support for OnBase Foundation 25.1

With its Q1 enhancements, Alfresco extends its tools to support solution builders and administrators. Enhancements include:

• The ability for administrators to quickly determine the number and size of content within folders and subfolders, which is useful when performing bulk operations

• Streamlined build and DevOps practices with improved tools for creating Docker images for Alfresco deployments

• An extension of Alfresco’s event parsing library, which provides robust support for future, custom and unknown event types

• Alfresco Process Services can now archive or delete completed and canceled processes automatically, improving both performance and scalability

Knowledge Discovery, a leading feature of Hyland’s Content Intelligence product line, empowers organizations with actionable business insights through a simple natural language query. Our Q1 release for Knowledge Discovery enhances the solution by empowering users to:

• Leverage natural language queries, AI agents and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to streamline complex searches and generate relevant, accurate information directly from your enterprise content

• Unify and access information from multiple repositories

• Refine search results with Agent Focus by specifying metadata fields and applying dynamic filters, which ensures precise and tailored outputs for your needs

• Verify AI-generated content by accessing source documents or additional information repositories, providing transparency and reliability

Automate delivers new, AI-enhanced capabilities that democratize automation building, expand integration options and accelerate time to value. Q1 releases include:

• A new AI-powered chat interface that transforms natural language prompts into Automate process workflows

• A new connector for OpenAI that enables features and settings from an existing OpenAI/Azure OpenAI account

• A new integration with Microsoft email, which simplifies the automation of email-based tasks

Hyland for Workday is an approved Built on Workday application that provides Workday HCM and Finance customers the ability to capture, index, search, view, manage and retain content that is or needs to be associated to Workday records — directly from Workday screens. Workday 1.1 enhancements include the ability to:

• Integrate content management capabilities directly within Workday Financial Management, in addition to Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), which was supported in the initial release

• Configure security by user roles and actions, enabling more granular controls to determine who can access and interact with content

• Equip users to download and print documents directly from their Workday screens

Migrate empowers organizations looking to transition off legacy content management systems or consolidate multiple repositories into a modern enterprise content solution. With Migrate, customers can:

• Realize cost and effort savings, plus mitigate risk, by migrating data and documents out of antiquated legacy applications

• Use efficient tools and processes to centralize data and documents in Hyland’s industry-leading platform

• Simplify processing for more efficient day-forward import processes

• Leverage Hyland consulting services alongside Migrate to ensure best practices and project success
